Tesla Motors Supercharger Netowrk

Tesla just unveiled its brand new Supercharger Network and it is a historic day indeed. The charge network that looks like a Space X rocket from the future will utilize solar electricity from Elon Musk's other company Solar City and will actually put more energy into the power grid then what the cars take out.

What this means is that the green house emissions are not simply going to be passed along the chain to the power plant of the area. These supercharging stations are run 100% by the power of the sun.

This is great news if your an environmentalist, but what does it mean for Model S owners? Tesla is going to allow you to recharge your vehicle for free. That's right, you will be able to run your car indefinably for free via nothing but the energy produced by the sun and collected by Musk's company.

Tesla could of easily charged customers if they wanted to, they chose not to. This really goes to show that Musk not only talks the talk but he walks the walk as well.

His businesses are a means to an end, he really does have a goal for humanity and I don't believe they involve dollar signs.

As it stands there are already 6 supercharger stations open as of today. You can drive 3 hours, charge for half an hour and drive again for 3 hours. Battery swaps will also be available at some point which will make the exchange even quicker.

Spread the word, visit the Tesla website and find out what you are missing out on.

If you are interested in Musk's other endeavors by all means read my previous article about Space X.

Lee Camp my hero

Thanks YouTube for having the foresight to cue up this clip for me. Somehow you knew id want to watch it before I even knew myself.

Lee Camp a man I have never heard of just became my hero. Here's why:

The best part about this video is Lee is having a natural reaction that any rational person would have after listening to such rubbish. His question is completely sincere as he asks "What is Fox News?" and you have to wonder, what do these guys think of themselves? Do they think they are saving the world? I really would like to know if each news caster on the network is aware of his or her own ignorance.

I don't live in the US so their propaganda only effects me indirectly. But I have to say watching this circus from the outside is the same as watching the presidency of George W Bush and that is to say from the outside the whole thing was a joke. The rest of the world was wondering why all the red states weren't aware of the joke.

Coming of age in a world where George W Bush was leader of the free world was kind of a hard thing. Its a notion that shakes the very foundations of a world your still coming to terms with. So when Barack Obama was voted into office I can not tell you how refreshing this was for me. As a young man who lives no where near this country I was estatic, this well spoken man who actually sounds like he knows what he is talking about who can articulate his words and pronounce the word "nuclear" in perfect clarity. It didn't matter to me that he was the first black President, it mattered to me that he was the first smart President after 8 years of Bush and Cheney dutch ruddering each other.

It was just refreshing and it filled this young man with hope, I bring this up because a video like the one above gives me that exact same feeling. These are guys fighting the good fight and we need more of them, so if your out there let your voices be heard. Its usually the ignorant that scream the loudest and its time that changes.

P.S. and while I was digging around to find out who this glorious bastard is I also took a liking to this:

You heard him folks go visit his site, here is the link.

Breaking Bad Mid Season Finale!

I just watched the mid season finale to AMC's Breaking Bad and let me tell you its a good one. More then any other show on television Breaking Bad seems to leave me with my jaw on the floor. I swear after almost every episode I seem to utter the words HOLY SHIT, I send my friends text messages "Breaking Bad - HOLY SHIT."

I post on Facebook "Just watched Breaking Bad Holy fucking shit" and the truth is they are the words that instinctively come out of my mouth after watching this thing. After 4 and half seasons it has not gotten old yet, the dynamics of the show continue to change and so far nothing has felt re hashed and re used.

Considering how the episode ended its hard to imagine that the final 8 episodes are going to be stale. Remember in The Dark Knight when The Joker says something along the lines of "this is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" I have a hunch that this is what we will see in the last leg of the series between Hank the super cop and Walt the master criminal.
