Needs no explanation but its good to see Guy Pearce in the mix. Hopefully they use him to his full potential unlike in Prometheus.
Enjoy.

Tesla Motors Supercharger Netowrk
Tesla just unveiled its brand new Supercharger Network and it is a historic day indeed. The charge network that looks like a Space X rocket from the future will utilize solar electricity from Elon Musk's other company Solar City and will actually put more energy into the power grid then what the cars take out.
What this means is that the green house emissions are not simply going to be passed along the chain to the power plant of the area. These supercharging stations are run 100% by the power of the sun.
This is great news if your an environmentalist, but what does it mean for Model S owners? Tesla is going to allow you to recharge your vehicle for free. That's right, you will be able to run your car indefinably for free via nothing but the energy produced by the sun and collected by Musk's company.
Tesla could of easily charged customers if they wanted to, they chose not to. This really goes to show that Musk not only talks the talk but he walks the walk as well.
His businesses are a means to an end, he really does have a goal for humanity and I don't believe they involve dollar signs.
As it stands there are already 6 supercharger stations open as of today. You can drive 3 hours, charge for half an hour and drive again for 3 hours. Battery swaps will also be available at some point which will make the exchange even quicker.
Spread the word, visit the Tesla website and find out what you are missing out on.
If you are interested in Musk's other endeavors by all means read my previous article about Space X.

GLOBAL WARMING IS REAL
Just like my last post, this is a real issue that has plenty of deniers trying to sweep the problem under the rug. I am not qualified to talk about this so I'm just going to direct you HERE. It's time everyone gets aware.
But while I have you, the below picture shows where the ice sits as on 2012 versus the orange outline of where it covered (average minimum) from 1979-2010. Again I stress go read more books by the experts as it is your privilege to do so.

Are UFO's real?
The answer is yes. UFO's are real. Now lets talk about what a UFO is. A UFO is an unidentified flying object. Are aliens real? The answer is most certainly yes however this assumption of mine is calculated on odds and not evidence.
To satisfy the skeptics we need either something physical from a piece of alien tech or a DNA sample from an alien itself.
Most scientists won't try and convince you that we are alone in the universe, that would be pretty closed minded and dare I say stupid. The only prerequisite to being a scientist is don't be stupid. I might add the prerequisite for being a good scientist is having an open mind (but that's just my opinion).
If your mind is closed then you probably aren't going to discover anything new and if your satisfied with what you already do know then your certainly not going to innovate and your definitely not going to predict the future.
The questions that often get muddled together are:
A) Do we share the universe with other life?
B) Is that life intelligent?
C) Has that intelligent life visited Earth?
I would bet the farm that the answer to question A and B is a resounding YES!
IF the answer to question C is no then I would follow up with two alternative statements.
Statement one: It is only a matter of time until intelligent life visits us.
Statement two: It is only a matter of time until we visit intelligent life.
The skeptics have three main arguments (I'm not including the total lack of physical evidence because that of course is the only argument that they need to make, that's kinda the point of being a skeptic)
A) Why visit us?
B) Why would the government cover it up?
C) Why don't the aliens land in a populated area?
I hear a lot of people say that if aliens were real then they would have no reason to visit Earth, they will be vastly superior to us so why bother with unintelligent beings like ourselves. The problem I have with this argument is that I always make one assumption about our theoretical alien pals. That is that they gained their intelligence because they are inquisitive, if your an inquisitive being and you discover life on another planet then your going to observe.
I can assure you that when we are physically able, whoever the leading space agency is at the time will be sending a probe to whatever the closest planet is that Kepler has found.
Why would the government cover it up? Before I answer this remember that when answering these questions I'm making the assumption that we have been visited, this doesn't mean I believe that this has happened.
So why cover it up? The one that seems to get tossed around most by the believers is that the Government thinks the people are not ready and could not handle such information. I have a problem with this, firstly its insulting to think the government who seem more incompetent every year would hold such a thing from us or even be capable of hiding such a thing.
Existence is existence and we can guess and prepare for the future but the present is now and we will only ever exist in the present. To think that the government is delaying first contact because we aren't ready is preposterous simply because they are of the same human race that we are from. If they are ready then we are ready. They are us, we are them. I hope its that simple, but our governments ARE ignorant so I could of course be wrong on that point.
What I think is more likely is that IF the government does know anything at all the only reason they don't comment is because they probably know just as much as us and that is something that could make folks uneasy.
Lets say the folklore behind Roswell is true and an advanced alien ship crashed and the military were able to backwards engineer the tech, why not release it? This ones a little easier to swallow when looking at the history of the USAF and their deep black projects. The second reason I could think to cover it up does not necessarily involve the government directly but the corporations that that have influence over them. I'm talking specifically about energy companies. An alien space craft that could travel to another star system would make oil obsolete.
I need to add that this argument exists anyway without the inclusion of aliens, oil is already obsolete and has been for a long time, corporations DO really have influence in the government. I'm not going to go into it in detail but just look at Dick Cheney and the contracts he granted for the IRAQ war not to mention who the Treasury Secretary was under the Bush administration. All I am saying is that remove aliens from the equation and the argument that governments are influenced by corporations is not even debatable
Before I get off the topic of the government I must note that from a military perspective if I were developing a top secret aircraft then I would absolutely love it if people thought I was hiding aliens it would be (and maybe already is) a great dis information campaign.
Finally the last question: why would aliens not land on the ground and reveal themselves? First lets look at STAR TREK and YES I am being serious.
The Prime Directive, Starfleet's General Order #1, is the most prominent guiding principle of the United Federation of Planets. The Prime Directive dictates that there can be no interference with the internal development of alien civilizations.
I think this is perfectly reasonable and something that I had thought long before I had ever watched Star Trek.
But then again I would think that if this is the case then why would so many get caught on video?
These are just my thoughts, my actual opinion as to whether any of this stuff is real... well I can't give you that because I don't have a clue. I can't have a clue because there is no evidence so I'm looking at both sides of the coin while making certain assumptions.
I know the world is full of liars, but after watching 1000's of peoples testimonies who claim to of seen UFO's its hard not to believe all this stuff. With that said you can't just jump to the conclusion that it has to be aliens, this is true of any argument on any subject. The skeptics say a sum of anecdotes do not equal evidence and I do agree with this however in the same breath I think its just as important not to be unflinchingly dismissive of such a testimony.
At the end of the day whether this is real or not it does not matter to me. The search for answers on this subject led me to astronomy and all the science that we do know is real. Like the guys who work at NASA who do so because they grew up watching Star Trek, well I didn't grow up watching Star Trek. There was no one in my life as a child that had a scientific influence on me. It was the crack pot stories of UFO believers that got my mind ticking, so to me whether they have or have not visited Earth does not matter so much because the journey itself has so far been incredibly fascinating.
